About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Engineering Technology in North America. This pivotal role is focused on providing technical engineering and leadership to support the power conversion and storage business segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large organization that delivers a range of engineering services, including MV drives control, power system studies, and power electronics. Key responsibilities include project engineering, strategic product planning, and engineering demand forecasting. The role demands a leader who can set and execute engineering strategy, develop a strong technical team, and ensure the successful execution of complex projects with a high level of customer engagement. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with at least 15 years' experience in medium-voltage electrical system development and 8 years in technical leadership or management. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in driving product innovation, creating technology roadmaps, and leading the technical execution of projects. The Executive Director will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure the financial performance of the region. Transformational leadership, the ability to drive team performance, and a focus on operational and strategic goals are essential for this position.
