Job Description: RN Wound Care Nurse (WOCN Certified)

Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Wound Care Nurse with Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized wound care management and support to patients, ensuring optimal healing and patient outcomes. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex wounds and ostomies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care management and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Comply with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• WOCN certification is required.
• Proven experience in wound care nursing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
