Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Fine Wine Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of wine sales experience to join our team, covering both on-premise (restaurants, country clubs, hotels) and off-premise (retail, specialty stores) accounts in the Naples area. The ideal candidate will combine deep wine knowledge with exceptional relationship-building skills to grow our premium wine portfolio. You’ll play a key role in consulting, educating, and servicing customers, while prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and demonstrate extensive fine wine knowledge to increase sales in high-profile restaurants, retail accounts, and country clubs.
Cultivate strong customer relationships through regular in-person sales calls and exceptional service.
Prospect and secure new accounts within the assigned territory.
Educate account staff with engaging, on-site wine training sessions for both retail and restaurant partners.
Coordinate and attend customer events such as wine dinners, tastings, and product launches.
Stay informed of industry trends, wine regions, varietals, and competitive activity.
Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development.
Complete administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of wine sales experience within distribution, hospitality, or supplier sectors.
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and close sales.
Strong communication, storytelling, and influencing skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work occasional evenings/weekends for events.
